Join us at Art Fair on the Square in 2020!
One of the Midwest’s most popular and highly regarded outdoor art celebrations will return to the Capitol Square July 11 and 12, 2020 as MMoCA presents the 62nd annual Art Fair on the Square. With its mix of music, outdoor dining, and nearly 500 artists exhibiting paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture, jewelry, handmade clothing and accessories, and fine craft, the fair draws nearly 200,000 visitors to Madison.
Artists may apply to be a part of the 2020 fair mid-November through mid-March on zapplication.org.

Volunteer on the Square!
Be an Art Fair on the Square volunteer! MMoCA relies on the time and talent of community volunteers to help run our largest annual fundraiser. Visit this page to review and sign up for your choice of task(s)/shift(s). All Art Fair on the Square volunteers receive free food and drink tickets.
MMoCA invites families to drop by the Kids’ Area to enjoy free art and craft projects for children of all ages. This year, activities will include collage landscapes, beading, screen-printing, coloring, jewelry making, and more. The Kids’ Area is located at the King Street corner of the walkway leading to the Capitol Building and will be active on Saturday, 9:15 am–6 pm and Sunday, 10:15 am–5 pm.
Every year, MMoCA welcomes musicians, dance companies, and other performers to submit an application to be considered for the entertainment line-up at Art Fair on the Square.
