Overview
Green Over Grey Soirée
Saturday, April 5 • 6–8 PM • Rooftop Lounge • Free Admission
The Green Over Grey Soirée, a “green-tie” event hosted by the MMoCA Teen Forum, offers teens from throughout the Madison area to celebrate the exhibition Green Over Grey: The Art of Adaptation.
Guests are encouraged to dress up in semi-formalwear in shades of green and earth tones. Thrift store finds and upcycled threads are encouraged; partygoers dressed to the theme will be entered in a raffle.
Construct an origami corsage or boutonniere, enjoy custom mocktails inspired by the exhibition, chat with the artists, and create friendship bracelets for Mother Earth while listening to live music.
The exhibition features artwork made by high school students that explores how nature adapts and overcomes human influences, how art can address the climate crisis, and how young people have the power to create the changes the world needs.
This free event is open to high schoolers (or home school equivalent) with a valid school ID.
