MMoCA is hosting guided art tours for Caja de visiones: arte moderno y contemporáneo de México en el Medio Oeste de los Estados Unidos! Learn more about the artworks on view before the exhibition closes, on view through January 23, 2022.

Sessions

Session 1: 1:30–2 PM
Session 2: 2–2:30 PM

Free, Limited Spots

  • In light of the recent Covid spike, and in order to maintain physical distancing, reservations are highly suggested for the tour.
  • Ticketholders must arrive no later than 5 minutes prior to the tour session in order to guarantee a spot. Unclaimed spots will be available to the next person on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • In addition to advance spots reserved through Eventbrite, spots may be available the day of. Please call (608) 257-0158 to check availability.
  • Please cancel your reservation if you are unable to make it so that someone else may attend the tour.

Giveaway: Free Exhibition Catalogue

Here’s a chance to take the exhibition home with you! Attendees get a chance to win a free exhibition catalog for Caja de visiones, full of colorful reproductions of the artwork featured in the exhibition. Upon entering the event, you can enter your name for the giveaway.

Two giveaways will occur at 1:45 PM and another at 2:45 PM. It is your responsibility to check in at the front desk before you leave to see if you have won a catalog.

COVID Policy

  • Due to concerns over the highly transmissible Omicron variant of the coronavirus, MMoCA is again requiring visitors to wear masks inside the museum, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Masks are encouraged outdoors when social distancing cannot be easily maintained, and when interacting with Museum staff.
  • Event capacities at MMoCA have been limited to allow ample room for social distancing between guests.
