With its mix of music, entertainment, and outdoor dining, as well as nearly 500 artists exhibiting paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture, jewelry, handmade clothing and accessories, and fine craft, the fair draws nearly 200,000 visitors to Madison's Capitol Square.

Saturday, July 11 (9 am–6 pm)
Sunday, July 12 (10 am–5 pm)

There are many options for parking in downtown Madison. View a map of city-operated parking lots, garages and ramps.

Fans of music and dance will have plenty of reasons to enjoy the Art Fair on the Square. Thirty groups and individuals will perform at this year’s fair, including out-of-town and local favorites. Visitors can rest and watch performances while enjoying a meal at food courts on State Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, or at the seating area on the Capitol Steps at North Hamilton Street. The student stage at East Washington Avenue will showcase the talent of young classical musicians all weekend. View the entertainment schedule.

The fair offers 40 concession stands and food carts for your dining pleasure. View a list of the tasty treats and participating food vendors that can be enjoyed at the fair.

The Kids Area of the Art Fair, located on the King Street steps of the Capitol building, invites families to drop by and enjoy games and art projects galore. Click here for a complete schedule.
