In a tribute to Myers upon her passing in 2014, MMoCA held the exhibition "Compassionate Eye: The Art of Frances Myers" that highlighted her experimental practice as a printmaker. Myers was on the Board of Trustees and a longtime supporter of the museum alongside her husband and fellow printmaker, Warrington Colescott. The museum's security staff recounted that during the run of Myer's exhibition, Colescott would visit nearly every day. He sat in the gallery for long stretches of time in remembrance and celebration of her life and work.
