For Teens

Teen Forum

The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) is pleased to open applications to the 2021-22 Teen Forum program. Members of the Teen Forum will meet both virtually and in-person (members will have the option to stay completely virtual if desired) to develop programming for an upcoming art exhibition in the MMoCA offices scheduled for Spring 2022. The participants of the program will receive mentorship from MMoCA Curatorial and Educational staff in order to conceive, plan, curate, and implement a teen art exhibition.

The Teen Forum will consist of a small group of 9th-12th graders, ages 14-18 in the Madison area who are interested and passionate about all kinds of art, including traditional and nontraditional art forms. The Teen Forum will have the autonomy to build a meaningful and relevant arts program at the museum, and will be exposed to a diverse array of careers within the arts. Members will be paid a stipend.

This application is due on Sunday, October 18th, 2021 at 11:59pm. Applicants will be notified on Monday, November 1st, 2021.
