Overview

You’re invited to a reception for Wendy Red Star: Apsáalooke: Children of the Large-Beaked Bird. Beginning at 5 PM on December 9, 2022, guests may view the exhibition in the State Street Gallery and The Shop. The reception will offer a welcome, live performances by the Wisconsin Dells Singers, and refreshments at a cash bar in the Lobby and Third Floor Lounge. Admission is free.

Apsáalooke: Children of the Large-Beaked Bird is a traveling exhibition curated by Laura Thompson of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) and celebrates the career of Red Star, a multimedia artist and member of the Apsáalooke (Crow) tribe.
