Join us for Poetry Speaks: A response to Caja de visiones. This FREE event will run between 6:30–7:30 PM and will be held in the Main Galleries at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.
Local poets Dana Maya, Oscar Mireles, Dominique Salas, Angela Trudell-Vasquez (Madison Poet Laureate), and Marty Lopez will read their poems, composed in response to the Mexican Modern and works by Mexican and Mexican-American contemporary artists in Caja de visiones: Arte moderno y contemporáneo de México en el Medio Oeste de los Estados Unidos or Box of Visions: Modern and Contemporary Art from Mexico in the Midwest.
