Inspired by themes expressed in Mirror Image: Portraits from the Permanent Collection, the Madison Symphony Orchestra’s Rhapsodie Quartet performs works by Mozart and Brahms in the exhibition galleries.

The performance will feature Mozarts’ String Quartet No. 17 in B-flat major, K. 458, “The Hunt”, and Brahms’ String Sextet No. 2 in G major, Opus 36.

The Rhapsodie Quartet includes the Symphony’s co-concertmaster Suzanne Beia, principal violist Christopher Dozoryst, principal cellist Karl Lavine, and violinist Laura Burns. Guest musicians Katrin Talbot, viola, and Parry Karp, cello, join the Quartet for this performance.

The Quartet’s primary purpose is to serve within HeartStrings, the MSO’s arts in healthcare program.
