Wisconsin Triennial

About

In the summer of 2025, the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art will present the Wisconsin Triennial, a survey of contemporary Wisconsin art. Artists from across the state are invited to apply to this exhibition.

In a return to its original form, the 2025 Wisconsin Triennial will be a juried exhibition selected and organized by MMoCA curatorial staff to reflect current directions in Wisconsin’s visual arts scene. Each selected artist will be represented either by a single work or a small group of works. The exhibition will be installed in the Museum’s Main Galleries. Other spaces, such as the Museum Lobby and Rooftop Sculpture Garden, may also be utilized.

The application deadline for the 2025 Wisconsin Triennial has passed. The curatorial team will begin reviewing applications and reach out to select artists to schedule studio visits. Final notifications will be sent in late December.
