The museum’s popular, free outdoor art programs hit the road again this summer, bringing expert instruction and a relaxed attitude to art projects at parks, playgrounds, and beaches in Madison and Dane County.
Beginning Saturday, June 12, Art Cart EXTRA! will travel to the area communities of Black Earth, Cross Plains, DeForest, Lake Mills, McFarland, Monona, Mount Horeb, Stoughton, Sun Prairie, Verona, and Waunakee. On June 17, Art Cart will begin visiting sites throughout Madison.
Both programs offer a variety of individual and group art projects planned for children ages three and above. All children should be accompanied by a supervising adult. Organized summer camps and other childcare programs must pre-register; families are invited to drop-in with no pre-registration necessary.

Art Cart is jointly organized by MMoCA and Madison School & Community Recreation. Art Cart EXTRA! is a program of MMoCA. Kids across Madison and Dane County are invited to just show up for Art Cart. There's no cost and no reservations are required.
