African American Women: Femininity and Strength

Inspired by Nathaniel Mary Quinn’s painting, Big Bertha, Dawn Crim will be joined by Melanie Herzog, Sandra Adell, Linda Mathis-Rose, and Danielle Crim in a panel discussion on femininity and strength as celebrated in the African American community.

Dawn Crim is Secretary of Safety and Professional Services for the State of Wisconsin, Melanie Herzog is professor of art and dean of the School of Arts & Sciences at Edgewood College, Sandra Adell is professor of Afro-American Studies at the UW-Madison, Linda Mathis-Rose is an educator and freelance visual artist, and Danielle Crim is an honor roll student in 11th grade at West High School.
