January 29, 2019 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Ali Muldrow will lead a discussion of racism and rape engendered by a society that denies our shared humanity. With consideration given to the work of Nathaniel Mary Quinn, the talk will examine our history and explore new ways of treating one another with compassion and respect.

Ali Muldrow is co-director of GSAFE, where she is currently director of youth programming and inclusion. In 2015, she launched GSAFE’s New Narrative Project in the Dane County Juvenile Detention Center, a program that provides incarcerated young people with opportunities for academic success, civic engagement, and self-determination.
