Overview

MMoCA’s first-ever Teen Art Exhibition, Alone Together: Perspectives on Isolation, opens this Friday with a virtual celebration live via Zoom from the Museum lobby. The new MMoCA Teen Forum, created in 2020, worked together to conceive, plan, organize, and implement the exhibition.  The six members of the Teen Forum selected 19 works by 14 teen artists in the Dane County area. The artwork is in various mediums, including collage, crochet, mural, and poetry.

Be sure to join members of MMoCA’s Educational and Curatorial staff this Friday evening to get a sneak peek of the show, meet some of the talented teenage artists whose work is on view, and enjoy a virtual walkthrough of the show.
