Information for MMoCA Art & Gift Fair Exhibiting Artists

Preparing for the 2019 Fair

Congratulations to those artists who were recently invited to exhibit. We look forward to welcoming you to one of Madison’s most beloved wintertime events this November. Prepare for a festive weekend filled with thousands of art enthusiasts, more than 70 fellow artists, seasonal entertainment, and a delicious array of foods from Gourmet Gallery food vendors. Thank you for participating, we wish you every success.

Note: MMoCA is no longer accepting applications for the 2019 MMoCA Art & Gift Fair. Artists are able to apply online, at, January through July each year.

All booth fees will be paid via Zapplication. A limited number of 4×8, 6×8, 6×10, 6×20, 10×10, and 10×20, etc. booth spaces will be available, and will be awarded based on a first to pay, first to receive basis.

After paying on Zapplication, all exhibiting artists must:

After you have paid your booth fee and submitted the two online forms you will be registered for the fair.


Set up hours: Artists will be assigned load in time slots on Friday, November 15, 2019 (this information will be mailed in late October).
Fair hours: Saturday, November 16, 2019    10am-6pm
Sunday, November 17, 2019    10am-4pm
Restocking: Artists may restock with a dolly:
Sunday, November 17, 2019    9-9:45am
Load out: Sunday, November 17, 2019    4-7pm

Parking is not provided, but there are a variety of parking options located in the downtown area of Madison, see: City-operated parking map. The best option for artists—especially those travelling with large vehicles & RVs—would be the “Permitted Section” or ungated portion of the Brayton Lot. See real time parking space availability.

Would you like us to consider using images of your work for inclusion in major MMoCA Art & Gift Fair publicity or in the program? Send one or two hi-res jpg images to Professional photographs only. 3D work must have a background that is solid grey, white, or black or a gradient. DEADLINE: August 31, 2019.

Jpg files MUST be at least 1-2 MB, but not larger than 5-6 MB.
