The lecture hall, which seats 230, is a great spot for presentations, film screenings, staff retreats, annual meetings, and more. The adjoining lobby makes a wonderful venue for receptions and celebrations of all kinds. Events occurring during the warmer months may take place in the MMoCA rooftop sculpture garden, which offers outdoor artworks and a bird’s-eye view of the busy State Street pedestrian mall.
In addition to offering guests the chance to celebrate in one of the Midwest’s most noteworthy buildings, guests at all MMoCA Private Events are invited to experience the museum’s world-class exhibitions, either independently or during guided tours.
Rental Rates and Policies
In order to receive discounted rental rates, organizations can become members of MMoCA’s Business Council.
MMoCA also offers special rates for nonprofit organizations. Small group discounts are also available for weekday events with fewer than 50 guests.
From preparation to presentation, fresco takes pride in serving food that is artfully prepared and tastes delicious. Fresco, the museum’s rooftop restaurant, manages food and beverage service and all non-tent equipment for all MMoCA Private Event rentals.
