April 25–May 4, 2014
Design MMoCA 2014
Design MMoCA celebrates art and design by placing the region’s design community at center stage. This event allows creative professionals from many disciplines to dream up designs of unlimited vision – using works from the museum’s permanent collection as inspiration. Design MMoCA is a unique opportunity for design professionals to develop an idea with a level of creative freedom not typically experienced in day-to-day design work.
The fourth biennial Design MMoCA will showcase the resulting works from April 25 – May 4, 2014, drawing thousands of art and design enthusiasts during this 10-day event. Both a fundraiser for MMoCA and a signature event, related activities include a preview gala, a public meet-the-designer session, a series of gallery talks, and more.
