Art Fair on the Square
Applications due February 29
MADISON, WI -- The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) invites artists from across the country to apply for the annual Art Fair on the Square, to be held July 12 and 13, 2008. The deadline for applications is February 29, 2008. MMoCA is pleased to accept artist applications online this year through Zapplication ( www.zapplication.org). Artists may also download a PDF application at www.mmoca.org and submit it by mail.
One of Madison’s favorite summertime traditions, Art Fair on the Square will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2008.
Art Fair on the Square is consistently rated among the best fine art and fine craft shows in America by Sunshine Artist magazine. The fair occupies eight blocks around Madison’s beautiful State Capitol building and attracts 200,000 enthusiastic visitors from around the region, offering artists an excellent opportunity to show and sell their work.
