MMSD students in grades kindergarten through 12
Three works of art per art teacher; individual and/or group works are permitted. Teachers who work at more than one school may submit three works of art per school. Please do not include explanatory text for works of art.
All two- and three-dimensional, and digital media are accepted. Please contact the Education Department if you intend to submit works of art requiring electronic or computer support; computer-based works may be on DVD or CDRom.
Maximum Size Guidelines
Prints, photographs, drawings, collages, 26 x 42 inches; paintings, 48 x 48 inches; sculpture, 72 inches high. Note: Works on paper will be prepared for exhibition by the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. Paintings on canvas will be installed as delivered. Three-dimensional works will be installed as appropriate.
Please contact the Education Department if you wish to submit works of art that are outside these guidelines.

Works of art are picked up from your school or dropped off at MMoCA.
Teachers who prefer to drop off their works of art should do so at MMoCA's offices. Directions are listed under the May 29 pick-up date. To arrange an alternate date, please call 608.257.0158 x 227. Works of art will not be accepted after March 20.
Entry forms must be completed before works of art are submitted. Works of art must have identification labels attached. Identification labels are emailed to you with the completion of the online entry form.
Please note: Submission of a work of art constitutes permission to reproduce it for publicity purposes, in its entirety or as a detail, and for press to contact a student through his or her parent for a potential interview. Parents/students may decline to be interviewed.

Teachers pick up works of art between 3 and 5 p.m. in MMoCA’s offices. You may park temporarily in MMoCA’s loading dock on North Henry Street, which is accessed from Johnson Street. Enter the building through the Overture Center’s North Henry Street doors. Take the elevator on the right to Level 2, where you will find MMoCA’s administrative offices.
