The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art has a distinguished history of presenting significant exhibitions. Solo and thematic exhibitions have included work in a wide range of media that examine diverse artistic sensibilities. The museum has organized important traveling exhibitions including George Segal: Street Scenes; LeWitt x 2; Jim Dine: Drawing from the Glyptothek; Claes Oldenburg: Printed Stuff; and Ursula von Rydingsvard: Sculpture.
