Saturday, April 30, 2016.

On Saturday, April 30, MMoCA travelers will ride to Chicago on a luxury coach bus. Once at the Museum of Contemporary Art, the group will enjoy a private guided tour of Kerry James Marshall: Mastry, an exhibition which focuses primarily on Marshall’s paintings made over the last 35 years, from his seminal inaugural statement Portrait of the Artist as a Shadow of His Former Self (1980) to his most recent explorations of African American history.

In the afternoon, travelers may choose to remain at the Museum of Contemporary Art or take the bus to the Art Institute of Chicago to view exhibitions including Martin Puryear: Multiple Dimesions and the newly re-curated contemporary collection.

Tickets are $85 for MMoCA members and $95 for non-members. Price includes round-trip luxury coach transportation, refreshments during transit, and MCA admission. The bus will depart from downtown Madison at 7:00 am and the Dutch Mill Park & Ride at 7:30 am and return at approximately 8:00 pm.

Ticket sales for this travel opportunity have ended.
