Stylist Info

The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art is pleased to announce an open call for entries for the fifth celebration of Hair Affair: The Art of Hair, to be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017. The theme of the 2017 event is Myths and Monsters.

This event showcases artful hair designs celebrating the intersection of art and hair. The over-the-top hair sculptures, displayed on live models at Hair Affair, will take center-stage in a runway show in the museum’s stunning lobby and on its glass staircase. The evening event will also feature a live DJ, seasonal hors d'oeuvres, signature cocktails, and a raffle. MMoCA looks forward to working with the style community to present a high-quality event that reflects its own artistic standards, as well as showcase the participating designers through this display of innovative, creative, unique, and fantastical hair creations… the more extreme the better!
