First Fridays at MMoCA offers the perfect balance of fun and sophistication in a lively yet laid back setting. Evenings feature local music, Fresco cocktails, gallery talks, films, and current exhibitions.
A Celebration of Americana
Friday, February 5 • 5:30-8 pm
Organized in conjunction with Apple Pie: Symbols of Americana in MMoCA's Permanent Collection, First Fridays will include a poetry reading by members of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets at 6:30 pm and jazz with Jane Reynolds and John Mesoloras playing "A Tribute to Mary Lou Williams" throughout the evening.
Admission is $5 (free for MMoCA members).
Guests at all First Fridays can take advantage of a 10% discount on purchases in the Museum Store (with certain exclusions). Member discounts also apply.

During cooler months, First Fridays takes place in MMoCA's glass lobby with great views both indoors and onto State Street.
