From Skyscrapers to Silverware: The Connection Between Architecture,
Interiors, and Furniture Design

Tom McHugh, AIA
The design process for architecture, interiors and furniture design is the same in many ways, but what you feed into that process varies. Tom McHugh is an architect who also designs furniture and interiors. McHugh will use examples of his own work and the work of other well-known architect-designers to illustrate how individuals approach the challenge of changing scale.

Keeping the Pieces: A Thread of Green Through History
Ed Linville, Linville Architects
Ed Linville has been a proponent and practitioner of green design since founding his architectural firm in 1981. Though the current craze for “going green” seems recently discovered, the founding principles have a long history. Learn about the practice of green design through the ages and discover how this “thread of green” continues to guide us today and into our future.
