MMoCA understands that part of the philosophy of scouting is to give young people opportunities to build courage, confidence, and character by participating in their communities. Girl Scout troops may work toward this goal and completion of a Fine Arts badge by visiting MMoCA on a guided tour. Troop leaders may schedule a guided tour by contacting the education department at 608.257.0158 x 227, or by completing a tour request form.
Lesson plans designed to meet Brownie, Junior, Cadet and Senior Girl Scout Fine Arts requirements are available to Scout troops unable to visit the museum.
Tours organized for Girl Scouts include focused discussions of original works of art and a gallery-based art activity.
