MMoCA Inside Out
A Grand Opening Celebration for the
Madison Museum of Contemporary Art
April 23--May 5, 2006
The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art celebrates the opening of its new home in the Overture Center for the Arts with MMoCA Inside Out, a 13-day festival. Visitors are invited to tour the new building and enjoy films, art talks, live music, kids. workshops, and a greatly enlarged Museum Store. Opening exhibitions include Between the Lakes: Artists Respond to Madison, a series of major commissioned works marking the city's sesquicentennial; At Home: Recent Acquisitions; and Modern Art/Contemporary Art/MMoCA Collects.
Doors open to the public at noon on April 23. Hours during the remainder of the festival are 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. daily. Events are free except where noted. Please call the museum at 608.257.0158 to confirm date and time for specific events.
