Application Deadline for Expanded
Holiday Art Fair is May 31, 2009
MADISON, WI The Art League of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) invites artists to apply for the Holiday Art Fair to be held November 21-22, 2009. The deadline for application is May 31, 2009. Artist may apply online through Zapplication www.zapplication.org or download an application at http://www.mmoca.org/events/holidayartfair/index.php.
A longtime Madison tradition, Holiday Art Fair provides shoppers with an opportunity to purchase unique, handcrafted gifts in a stunning architectural space. The fair is an excellent showcase for contemporary fine art and craft during the holiday season. This juried show, featuring distinguished artists from the region, is as sophisticated as its Cesar-Pelli designed setting in downtown Madison.
This year, for the first time, MMoCA is working in association with Overture Center for the Arts to host an expanded Holiday Art Fair. The association allows the Holiday Art Fair to feature 100 artist boothstwice as many as in previous yearsas well as expand holiday entertainment.

All proceeds from Holiday Art Fair benefit the free exhibition and education programs of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.

Hours at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art are Tuesday– Thursday (noon–5 pm); Friday (noon–8 pm); Saturday (10 am–8 pm); and Sunday (noon–5 pm). The museum is closed on Mondays.
Admission to exhibitions at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art is free of charge. MMoCA is an independent museum supported through memberships and through generous contributions and grants from individuals, corporations, agencies, and foundations. Important support is also generated through auxiliary group programs; special events; rental of the museum's lobby, lecture hall, and rooftop garden; and sales through the Museum Store.
