Art Fair on the Square
Applications Due March 1, 2011
MADISON, WI – The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) invites artists from across the country to apply for the 53rd annual Art Fair on the Square, to be held July 9 and 10, 2011. Located in the heart of downtown Madison, Art Fair on the Square is one of the city’s most highly anticipated summer events, regularly attracting more than 200,000 enthusiastic shoppers.
The deadline for application is March 1, 2011. MMoCA accepts artist applications online through Zapplication.
Art Fair on the Square is consistently rated among the best fine art and fine craft shows in America by Sunshine Artist magazine and Art Fair Sourcebook. In February 2009, AmericanStyle magazine wrote, “The camaraderie among the 450 artists [at Art Fair on the Square] makes the atmosphere and the experience incomparable.” Art Fair on the Square occupies eight blocks around Madison’s beautiful Capitol building, offering artists an excellent opportunity to show and sell their work.
