The MMoCA Internships program is designed to mentor future museum professionals by providing real-world learning experiences.
MMoCA Internships are open to undergraduates who have completed their sophomore year, recent college graduates, and graduate students. MMoCA Internships are unpaid, but students often arrange academic credit through their college or university.
MMoCA Internships are typically project-oriented within a specific department. The availability of internships is determined by the needs of individual departments within the limitations of staff, space, exhibition schedules, and the varying potential for challenging intern projects. MMoCA may consider candidates with interest in several areas of the museum, including membership and development, education, exhibitions, marketing and communications, and the MMoCA library.
Interns must be able to fulfill their weekly hours between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
MMoCA is currently accepting applications for Summer interns in the following departments: Administrative/Membership, Development, Graphic Design, Private Events, Public Relations, and Special Events
