MADISON, WI-- The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art is recruiting 600 volunteers for the 53rd annual Art Fair on the Square on July 9 and 10, 2011. One of the country's most highly ranked fairs, Art Fair on the Square draws more than 200,000 visitors each year. Volunteers can enjoy the fair on the beautiful Capitol Concourse while providing crucial support for the museum's most important fundraiser of the year.

Volunteers at Art Fair on the Square may choose from a variety of opportunities. Assignments include working at food and beverage concession stands and booth-sitting for artist relief.

Volunteer shifts are approximately three hours long, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the fair. The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art encourages groups of friends, coworkers, and family members to volunteer together. Children ages 11 to 15 may volunteer with an adult companion. All volunteers receive coupons for free food and beverages. Volunteers who work three or more shifts receive a free Art Fair on the Square t-shirt.
